SPRING 2025 – Access to mental health services can be a significant hurdle for many in our community, and Light MHK (www.lightMHK.org) is working to break down those barriers with support from the Manhattan Community Health Foundation.
“Light MHK appreciates the grant awarded by the Manhattan Community Health Foundation Community Health and Wellness Awareness Program. Our mission is to decrease barriers to mental health services by providing direct services grants to providers for uninsured or underinsured individuals. Mental health affects all aspects of the lives of our community members, and it is important that all members of the community have access to mental health services.”
Jill Jacoby, Light MHK Program Director
This grant from MCHF will help Light MHK expand its reach and provide more individuals in need with access to mental health support. By investing in mental health services, MCHF and Light MHK are working to improve the overall well-being of our community.
