Investing in the Future of Healthcare
The Manhattan Community Health Foundation is dedicated to raising the healthcare bar in our region. We act as a catalyst for community health, working to build a more vibrant community by supporting the people and programs that elevate healthcare quality.
A key investment in this effort is supporting aspiring healthcare professionals. Partnering with Ascension Via Christi Hospital Manhattan, we offer scholarships to students in high-demand fields like nursing. This reflects our commitment to our role as a catalyst for community health.
We’ve awarded scholarships to future healthcare professionals each year, providing support to one individual in 2022, six in 2023, and three in 2024. Our goal is to award five scholarships annually. Recently, our 2024 awards of $10,000 each went to three future professionals – including two RNs and one Lab Technician. They will contribute directly to Manhattan’s healthcare system, ensuring our community has access to skilled professionals. This investment strengthens our position as a catalyst for community health.
