K-State Alumni Center
SOLD OUT
The response to the 2026 Crystal Gala has been overwhelming—we are officially SOLD OUT! While the K-State Alumni Center will be full on February 21st, the mission to bring health, healing, and hope to our community is just getting started. Many of you who are unable to attend have asked how you can still be a part of this vital work, and we have been moved by your generosity.
Our Fundraising Priority: The Flint Hills Community Care Team
This year, our goal is to raise $60,000 ($20,000 annually for 3 years) to sustain the Flint Hills Community Care Team.
The FHCCT provides holistic, “wrap-around” care to our community’s most vulnerable members, addressing the social determinants of health like stable housing, food security, and reliable transportation.
Your support will fund the Care Team Coordinator position. This role acts as the “glue” for a coalition of 30 partner organizations—including the hospital, Shepherd’s Crossing, Be Able, the Manhattan Emergency Shelter, and the Riley County Health Department—ensuring that no neighbor falls through the cracks.
The Pre-Event Challenge
To date, we have already received $3,200 in pre-event gifts and donations from neighbors. Our goal is to reach $7,500 in donations before the doors even open on Gala night.
Reaching this milestone will give us incredible momentum as we work toward our three-year goal of $60,000 to fund the Care Team Coordinator. This role is the “glue” that keeps 30 community organizations working together to ensure no neighbor falls through the cracks.
How You Can Help Today
You don’t need a ticket to be a hero for community health. Whether it is $50, $100, or $500, every dollar goes directly toward sustaining the Flint Hills Community Care Team (FHCCT).
